Mrs. Jacque Osteen

Jacque Osteen has been named principal of Millbrook Elementary School for the 2023-24 school year.

Her academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and a master’s degree in Educational Administration and Supervision, both from the University of South Carolina.

She started her career in education as a special education aide, but quickly moved to teaching Middle School ELA.  She has taught different grade levels, including 3rd grade and 5th grade.  In 2020, Osteen moved into an assistant principal role at LBC Middle School and was there until she was appointed Principal of Millbrook Elementary.

Osteen lives in Aiken with her husband, her 3-year-old son, and her dog. Although she is originally from Michigan, she considers Aiken home.

Mrs. Terra van der Linden

Terra van der Linden has been named assistant principal of Millbrook Elementary School for the 2023-24 school year.

As a former student of 天美传媒 Schools, Mrs. van der Linden attended Belvedere Elementary, North Augusta Middle School, and graduated from North Augusta High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree from the University of South Carolina Aiken, a Master of Education degree from Columbia College, and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Augusta State University.

This will be her 22nd year working for 天美传媒 Public Schools. She taught 6th grade for 10 years and this will be her 12th year as an administrator.

Mrs. van der Linden and her husband live in North Augusta. They have one son who just recently graduated from Clemson University.

“I am so happy to serve as the new assistant principal of Millbrook Elementary School. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year working with the amazing faculty, staff, students and parents of this community.”
