Hello!!!

This is my second year teaching at Millbrook and I love being here. I am honored to have been named Millbrook's First Year Teacher of the Year for 2023 - 2024. I graduated from USC - Aiken with a B.A in Communication. After graduating, I worked for the City of Aiken in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism. I loved my time there, but I truly missed working with kids. I decided to go back to school and in 2022 I graduated with my Master of Art in Teaching Elementary Education from Liberty University.

I had the wonderful opportunity of being involved at Millbrook for 2 years before accepting a teaching position. I completed my practicums and student teaching here at Millbrook and did not want to leave. I love working with all the students that come into my room and can't wait to see who they are and who they become later in life.

I am married to Gary Asbill who currently coaches baseball at the University of South Carolina - Aiken. We have a dog named Kallie who is our entire world. Outside of the classroom, we enjoy sports, music and being involved at Cedar Creek Church!

I can't wait to see what the year holds!!! :)
