A number of attendance lines will shift with the 2018-19 school year. The families of students impacted will be provided the opportunity to stay at their current school through the grandfathering provision. All impacted families will receive a letter regarding their attendance line shift and will be asked if they'd like to exercise their right to grandfather, or if their family will be transitioning to their newly-zoned school for the 2018-19 school year. 

Grandfathering Provision: Current students who have already begun school in a school building may elect to stay where they are until the final grade (5th, 8th, 12th) in that building. Transportation is not provided to “grandfathered” students.

Siblings: Families with a younger student who will be in the same grade-span (elementary, middle, high) with their older sibling may apply for a transfer for their rising student to attend the same school as their grandfathered student. The application deadline for transfer students is March 16. Please visit School Choice for additional information and the transfer form.
