8:25-9:35        Math *small group instruction/Independent Practice (submit work online)/Intervention

9:35-10:00      Reading Live Lesson

10:00-10:20     Reading Assignment

10:20-10:35      Snack / Social Time

10:35-11:20     Specials

11:20-11:50     Writing Live Lesson

11:50-12:10     Writing Assignment

12:10-12:40      Lunch

12:40-1:30       *Reading Intervention /*Reading & Writing Small groups / Independent Reading

1:30-2:00         MW Science / TTH Social Studies

2:00-2:30         Closure

*Students would be assigned a specific time to log on for their targeted small group instruction or Intervention

Daily Expectations

Class begins at 7:30am. Please make sure your child is dressed and has eaten breakfast prior to beginning our virtual session. This will ensure that your child is focused and remains on task just like any normal in-classroom day.

Provide your child a quiet place that is free from distractions (siblings, pets, TV, etc.)

Please ensure that your child stays on task so they don't miss anything important during the lesson. 

Your child is expected to read every night and finish assigned work. I also encourage your child to study each night. Parents can access the content that is covered in the classroom as well as other resources on 

Calendar

Every student was provided an agenda for the school year. As well as the agenda, I have provided a virtual calendar for the students to keep track of assignments and upcoming tests/quizes/projects. This will be uploaded daily as I place homework assignments for the students each night. 

Please check the calendar for all assignments and deadlines.

Our main source of contact and communication will be through Microsoft Teams and Schoology. Microsoft Teams will be where we have our live sessions for our daily lessons. Students will be required to log in to Schoology several times throughout the day to complete independent activities and assignments. 

Within Schoology, there are several resources for your child to preview, including previously recorded live sessions, extra support site that can assist them, reading materials, and much more. I will be communicating a lot of important information through this site, so please make sure to stay active and visit daily.
