Second Grade

As our second grade students continue to grow as confident readers and writers, they begin to examine story structure and author's choices. They continue to learn about time, the value of money, and place value. They explore the structure of our government, local geographic features, and cultures and traditions. They are encouraged to be curious as they study animal classifications, weather, solids and liquids, magnets, and friction.
